What's your first thought of affiliate marketing?

You see, affiliate marketing through the years has been associated with the get rich quick schemes that populate the internet and quite frankly spam the internet, but do you know which is which?

How do you separate yourself from the make money scams and get to the actual earning affiliates?

Well you do one of two main things, first anything that says you can do this and then that but only if you pay to do that is generally a scam or just exists to get your money, but however there are those respectable marketers out there who do offer products that will actually help you further with your business online or in a particular niche, but you get over this with in depth reaserch, see who else is doing the same thing, used their products and actually has benefited from this, and I don't mean just reading the testimonials, because half the time these are fake testimonials that only serve as hype.

I'm talking about people who are actually talking about the product and recommending it based on their use of it, you can quite often find this valuable information in the forums, it takes some digging, but you can get there with a little reading.

You can usually see that this information is real because they may offer a critique of certain parts of the product, software or report, this may praise it or list the disadvantages of the content, but this is still valid affiliate research, because you need to know all the angles of how to promote something in your affiliate campaigns.
